Yoga Alchemy

 My passion is pairing yin and restorative yoga with plant-based solutions to support a deeper, nourishing holistic journey within.


Yin yoga supports us to charge our inner batteries and feel calmer, more open, relaxed and connected to mind, body and soul.

 

We are invited to FEEL instead of do. Aside from the physical benefits, there is an energetical healing aspect to slower and more mindful practices of yoga and the effects of a regular practice can be felt long after the class ends.

 In my yoga classes I offer a range of props to support your body, allowing you to relax deeper in each pose. I offer alternatives for every body so you can feel safe to let go. When we take the time to simply BE with ourselves, we switch from the flight/fight mode to the rest/digest mode, and the benefits to our health are huge!

Cacao Journey

Allow the magic of highly vibrational ceremonial grade Cacao to connect with your heart wisdom and drop deeper into your yoga practice.
 
Cacao is a powerful heart healing medicine that has been used for 1000’s of years by the ancient Olmec and Mayan civilisations. Bliss out and feel the benefits of an open heart as let your spirit soar with this natural mood enhancer.
 

What to expect in a yoga and cacao practice?


Each 2-hour cacao journey is lovingly held in sacred space. We come together in circle to connect with Mama Cacao - I use an heirloom variety of cacao from Ecuador sourced from Cacao Lab. After we delight in her taste, I will guide you through a deep drum meditation journey to induce a trance like effect while the cacao begins to assimilate in the body. After the drum journey, we move into some guided and intuitive movement before settling into more longer and deeper holds of yin yoga.

Essential Oils Yoga

Experience positive changes in mood and energy through the use of bio-active essential oils in a yoga class.
 
Science and anecdotal evidence shows that essential oils can be used to support our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Each oil contains
a unique energy profile which can be used at specific points on the body to restore our energy balance and reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression and other dis-eases.

What to expect in a yoga & essential oils practice?


Combined with a 1 and a half yin yoga class, the application of various essential oils offer a potent energising experience. I will guide you to use specific oils and lovingly apply them to specific parts of the body to bring about desired change in mood, energy and emotional well-being.
